To Add a Google Plus 1 Button to a website follow instructions found here.
I recommend going to advanced options and filling out the domain name that will be used so that it will be inserted into the code at the bottom of the page. By default whatever page a +1 button resides on will send information back to Google signaling that you person that clicked on that page meant to just “+1 that content”. By inserting the URL to +1 all +1’s will go back to the site as a whole.
