To add a splash page or to forward to other pages here are the instructions:
Add a Global Setting of
Section: Parameter
Token: forwardTo
Value: splash
We changed this so it can be used to forward other pages on a site, for example if you put this setting on the staff page:
Section: Production
Token: forwardTo
Value: office.html
This will forward all requests for the staff page to the office page without the need for a javascript redirect. Remember this redirect only works on the live site, it doesn’t work on editbuild. Also note that if you put this setting under global it will redirect ALL requests and cause a looping problem on the directed page, so only use a global forwardTo for the splash page.
